It is always good when a reviewer shares what they truly thought about a book and doesn't "give in" to what the majority of people feel. It can be hard to do at times but it is always appreciated.Jennershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08044537551139633301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324469465904961710.post-73659979095470476252011-12-28T22:03:44.046-05:002011-12-28T22:03:44.046-05:00Ohhhh Natalie what a beautiful new blog design! For example, why was she the SPOILER ALERT 'first wife' when she was the only bride who wasn't intimate with him? I saw nothing between them to show that she should be the favorite. And I wasn't exactly sure why she and Gabriel were running away together. I enjoyed reading the book and will be keeping up with the series, but I think the world-building could definitely have been better.LLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11194834748090369779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324469465904961710.post-43779868121342448982011-12-28T10:41:19.509-05:002011-12-28T10:41:19.509-05:00I would like to read more YA but there are so many...I would like to read more YA but there are so many books out there and so many overwhelmingly positive reviews that it's hard to find the best ones. I also don't understand why the girls had to be kidnapped, or why everything was forced on them, but I think in my review, my main gripe was about the slowness of the plotting. I think the part that I enjoyed the most was the interactions between the sister wives. A very intelligent review today, Natalie, I enjoyed reading it and thinking about this book again. I have the second in the series sitting here waiting for me, so I will have to let you know what I think!Zibileehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07443338685890187334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324469465904961710.post-58427273737254849492011-12-27T22:00:59.411-05:002011-12-27T22:00:59.411-05:00This is the first review I've seen of this boo...This is the first review I've seen of this book. But I have to agree, one thing science fiction needs to do is make sense with regard to human nature, since the "worlds" are so different than our own. If it doesn't pass the test, you have a right to mention it, and I really appreciated your take on this!Col (Col Reads)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03136923310179832040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324469465904961710.post-49046980080188593522011-12-27T19:38:00.998-05:002011-12-27T19:38:00.998-05:00I really appreciate your thoughts on this one.
