My other fave British shows are Ab Fab and The Vicar of Dibley - which are both older shows, but I have them on DVD, so I watch them once or twice a year. BBCAmerica is where its at! I'm going to have start watching the ones you mentioned - they sound so good! I'm not into Suits, but my sister loves it. I'm more of a 30Rock kind of gal (but that ends this Thursday, so I'll need a new show to get addicted to). Enjoy your TV watching - I always do :)Nadiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14315207186180201488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324469465904961710.post-38735231084594361082013-01-27T22:17:59.538-05:002013-01-27T22:17:59.538-05:00Are you hiding in my DVR? BBC's Being Human is an excellent series, and I think all 4 seasons are on Netflix streaming. MI-5/Spooks is an excellent series about spies, I've been working my way through all 10 seasons. It has Matthew McFadyen, Keely Hawes, Rupert Penry Jones, and Richard Armitage, so if you are fond of the actors, you should check it out.sawcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05665856636670547062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324469465904961710.post-19582008002313680602013-01-27T21:19:57.078-05:002013-01-27T21:19:57.078-05:00Thanks for the recommendations! I am really excited about Ripper Street because it sounds interesting and I LOVE Matthew MacFadyen. Unfortunately I don't watch a lot of TV "as its happening" but, as you mention, 6 months (or much more) later so I don't have any current recommendations. Sticking with the British TV theme, I really love Doctor Who and Sherlock and I just discovered through Netflix streaming The Vicar of Dibley which was way more hilarious than I was expecting. This BBC network option may just be the ticket for me, as we tend to stay with PBS or the occasional Food Network show.
