  7. That was very cool! Thanks, enjoyed that. All of the book sound great, esp the last one, Shades of Gray. I love it when books reveal little known parts of history to us. It's one of the most important functions of literature.\

  14. Great vlog! I always check these out because I'm curious about what other bloggers look like :-) You spoke so well and the pace was great, I'm very impressed with your ability to review like that, I would be a stumbling mess :-) I've read ATU and LOVED it, but haven't read the other two. Thanks for bringing them to my attention!

  22. What a wonderful first vlog! You're so confident and well-spoken on video...I'm very impressed :-) I do hope you'll make this a regular feature, because (a) I love seeing/hearing from other bloggers through vlogs, and (b) I love hearing about hand-picked favorite debuts! There are so many out there that it certainly helps to hear about someone's favorites.

  28. Michelle (red Headed Book Child - It was a lot of fun to share these books in a different format. And I'm glad you like the picks, too! :)

Jenny - Thanks! The film reel effect was my favorite! I was so proud when I figured out how to do that! LOL

ajmitchell - Yes, do pick up Evenfall! It might be one of my favorites! :)

mummazappa - Too funny, I'm the same way! I watch everyone's vlogs because I'm nosy *ahem* I mean curious! :) Since you've already read Across the Universe, you MUST pick up Evenfall and Between Shades of Gray!

Diane (Bibliophile by the Sea - Thanks! (It was a LOT of takes, though!)

Juju at Tales of Whimsy.com *high five* back at you! :) Yes, pick up Evenfall - sooo good!

Digital Graces Photography - Yes, I'll definitely try to get the cat and dog to sit aristocratically for me; they were part of my multiple takes as they were trying to figure out what I was doing just standing there for like an hour! :)

Annie at Buttery Books - Thanks so much! Evenfall was incredible and Between Shades of Gray will leave you thoughtful and crying. Well, come to think of it, they both will leave you like that! :) At least, it did with me.

Andi - I wil definitely try more; hopefully I can maintain the same non-stuttering way that I would normally do! :)

Amused - Thanks! Trust me, though - it took a long time for me to hit the "publish" button to release the post out onto the blogosphere! :)

Cat - Thanks so much! And let me know if you read the books - would love to get your opinion on them!

Erin - So glad you liked it!! Yes, I think I'll make it a regular feature - I just have to make sure my hair and make-up are looking the way I like...! :) Ok, that sounded vain. But, it's true! LOL I also like hearing and watching other bloggers' vlogs - much different way to share!

Jenny Girl - Thanks! I'd love to know what you think of the books if you get a chance to read them! They will be well worth your time, I promise!

BookQuoter - Yay, so happy you enjoyed viewing your first vlog and it was me! Woot! :)

theliterarylollipop - Thanks! I really enjoyed watching other bloggers' vlogs - hopefully we'll all get to see one from you, too!

nat @ book, line, and sinker - You are much too kind! Many thanks for the kind words! No, never worked in media, but will accept a change in the job world for something fantastically fantastic! :) I did do multiple takes, believe me! I forced my husband to stay outside so he couldn't hear me - he was out there for like an hour...LOL

Iliana - Thank you so much! Hopefully they get better and I can figure out the editing portion so I don't have to do it all in one take! :)

Kathleen - Thanks so much! I will hopefully do more, so I'm so glad you all liked it! (Or were wonderfully kind!)
