Saturday Snapshot...Chicagoland...

Two weeks ago, I delivered a presentation in Chicago for business that I was nervous about. Thanks to extra preparation (and all of your good Twitter-vibes), it went extremely well. Here are a couple shots from Chicago that I love. The first is a view out of my hotel window right around the corner from Michigan Avenue, and the next is from Chicago's O'Hare Airport. Who knew ceilings could be that interesting?

  1. Nice! They have a bit of the 1930s Chicago feeling when the town was (apparently) riddled with criminals. Very nice pictures.

Glad your meeting went well. Preparation is everything!

  7. I love Chicago...it has enough of the big city feel while still holding onto character and some grass and water here and there :)

  10. Oh, I do love those old buildings...they make me think of old movies...and capturing a time that is now gone.

  11. Nice shot of The Allerton, I've always liked that building. Chicago has a fantastic mix of architecture, old and new. But then, I'm biased because I live there.

I hope you got a chance to look around a bit before you had to leave. And great that the presentation was successful.

  12. That Allerton looks like classic architecture! None of this "Tall Shiny Piece of Glass" stuff!
